Charles H. Harrell II is the President of The Information Technology Architect Corporation dba The IT Architect Corporation (ITA).
His career started in Investment Banking at Merrill Lynch, Fenner and Price where he championed the raising of capital for middle market organizations. However, he officially transitioned into the technology industry in May 2003 as a founder of ITA, a technology and communications firm which specializes in the design, implementation, and management of the automation of business processes with innovative IT and communications solutions.
His commitment as a business and civic leader is reflected by the following committees and boards for which he sits. On September 2011, he was appointed by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to its Diversity Advisory Committee; also, he is an active member of the Illinois Black Chamber of Commerce on the information technology committee and Minority Business Enterprise Input Committee (MBEIC) with the Chicago Minority Supplier Development Council (CMSDC) as a Supply Chain Integration Committee Member.
Lastly, he has participated in the U.S. Small Business Administration Contractor Teaming Program; the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) ERATE participant; the Internship Desk and the Illinois Institute of Technology Academic Career Education Program (ACE) as a Business Mentor Program participant.
Charles H. Harrell II graduated from Michigan State University with his BA in Finance and received his JD (Corporate and Tax Law) from University of Miami School of Law.
